Hello to artists & art lovers.
Just wanted to share my joy for having a new piece of mine ("The Sailor & the Mermaid II" [link])  chosen as the DD.

It is an honor obviously and it kinda makes my day. We artists, we struggle in the dark, don't we? We have this ideas and these visions that sort of visit us, torment us, urging us to soldier on as it were, but we do it all alone. Today it feels like I'm not alone. I thank you for this

My group Traditional-Angels
is having a new contest. Theme: ANGEL of PEACE. This could be interpreted any way you want. It could be an image related to archangel Uriel who is generally seen as the Angel of Peace. It could be the image of a nativity scene Angel(s) (="Peace on Earth"), it could be the image of an Angel seen in the act of peacemaking, or it could be an image of an Angel with doves or other symbols of Peace, ect, etc... It is all up to you. As long as the image is created with traditional media (watercolor, oils, pencil, etc)

We have some nice prizes to offer too, like art commissions, calendars, Deviantart subscriptions, points, features etc!
